 at I'll be walking in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk
  to Cure Diabetes this year, and to ask you to join me. As many of you
  know I am a type 1 diabetic and it is my dream, to not only help myse
 lf, but as many others as I can with diabetes.\nTaking part in the Wal
 k is great experience. Not only will you be making a real difference i
 n helping to find a cure that will change the lives of millions... you
 'll be having FUN, and getting a good workout too!\nFirst, let me tell
  you a little about why this cause is so important.\nEvery year, more 
 than 30,000 new cases of type 1 diabetes--the most severe form of the 
 disease--are diagnosed in the United State alone, a large and growing 
 percentage of them children. Day-to-day living is a challenge for peop
 le with type 1 diabetes--and multiple insulin injections are only the 
 beginning. But what's even harder is facing the reality of the devasta
 ting complications that can stem from their condition.\nAs you can ima
 gine, it's easy for people with type 1 diabetes to feel that their fut
 ure is uncertain. But thanks to research funded by organizations such 
 as JDRF, people with diabetes have a new sense of hope. Scientists hav
 e made enormous progress, and a cure for type 1 diabetes is now within
  reach.\nThat's why this is such a crucial time, and why I'm asking yo
 u to join me in walking, and raising money that will speed these scien
 tists toward that cure. Every walker, and every dollar, brings us that
  much closer.\nSo please, come join me for this very special day... an
 d a chance to make a real difference!\nI'll be walking at Bicentennial
