I use an old DTron+ (several, in fact). Each time the "inspection timer" hits, I switch to another pump: Unlike other mfgrs, Disetronic/Accu-Check makes the inspection timer FATAL, and they've decided to "make money" by forcing everyone to upgrade. :((
I'll be upgrading to a different brand, when the time comes. I really dislike D/A's business strategy. Cozmo would be at the top of my shopping list today, but EVERYONE will have new, much more advanced models before I have to go shopping. (I've got YEARS worth of "spare" DTron+ pumps.) At that time, everyone's gonna have CGMS, and some might even have closed loop.

Now, for Kelly: Although it officially measures a bit thinner, the Dexcom Sensor is just as nasty going in. (I've used both, but chose to buy Dexcom.) Use LMX4, or Topicaine, or some other Lidocaine-only painkiller to make the injection pain free. (Not "less painful", it's totally pain free.) I use Topicaine for all my Sensors AND Infusion Sets, like it a lot.
Hey Kelly sorry I took so long to get back with you about your question, "How is the insertion needle on the Cozmore?", but work is keeping me swamped and I just am glad to be able to read the site once a week or so.
I use the Cleo and it is great! I will not even think about a CGM because I sure don't want two needles (or canulas) sticking in me all the time. The Cleo is easy to use and as painless as you can probably get. And if you have needle anxiety you can't even see the needle unless you really look hard for it as you insert it.
