What was your funniest diabetic moment? If you never had a low, tell us something funny that happend to you.

Gee, let me see. I don't know that I'd call it "funny," but when I was about 7 weeks pregnant, my husband had to summon an ambulance because of amy bad low. When the paramedics arrived, I kept apologizing for our messy apartment and the fact that I was in my nightshirt and refused to take any orange juice until I could change my clothes, fix my hair AND make them a cup of coffee! The paramedics practically had to hold me down in order for me to drink the juice, because even thought I was stumbling around the kitchen, I insisted on being a "good hostess."

What is your favorite snack to treat a low?

Currently, I'm using Werder's butterscotch suck-ons; for awhile, I was using mini-Tootsie Rolls. When I'm really low, I resort to orange juice, which isn't nearly as much fun!

What kind of treatment are you on?

insulin pump + 2 units of Lantus by injection to counteract occlusions
