What type are you? Or you can write that you have a friend or relative with diabetes.: I am type 1 (30 years) on an insulin pump and have a 12 yr old daughter who has had type 1 for 6 years and is also on an insulin pump.

What was your funniest diabetic moment? If you never had a low, tell us something funny that happend to you.: My funniest low moment was when I was out at a restaurant I had been to before and my sugar was low (so my brain wasn't working at full power)...I had to use the ladies room and instead, walked into the MEN'S room...and I remember standing there looking around (YES! Even with the giveaway of the urinals right there on the WALL I was still baffled and not getting it!) thinking, "Hmmm....wonder what made them change the decor in th bathroom..I thought it was pink the last time I was is in here!!!"

What is your favorite snack to treat a low?: I treat with glucose tabs because I can more accurately predict where my sugar will go....

What kind of treatment are you on?: insulin pump/carb counting/low glycemic/ gluten free diet (we have celiac disease as well) and exercise (cardio/strength & conditioning training daily)
