- What type are you? Or you can write that you have a friend or relative with diabetes.
- Juvenile, T1, IDDM... all kinds of goofy initials
- What is your blood sugar right now?
- Not telling!
- What was your funniest diabetic moment? If you never had a low, tell us something funny that happend to you.
- Lows, had many... "funny ones", that's hard??? Ok lets try this one...
In my 20's with a married friend took me with his wife and three young kids for pumpkin picking, and a hay ride. The NPH ~took me out~ that afternoon and I came crashing down big time, hard and fast. We got back from the hay ride to the gift shop and they realized I was really low. They went to get something with sugar in it for me. I knew I was in major trouble. In my haze I grabbed the coffee from my friend's wife drank it, THEN poured straight suger into her/my empty coffee cup... drinking and wearing most of it.
I had never had coffee before (or since)! In my ~haze~ I had thought it was Coke. Yuck....

- My wife was looking for medic alert wristbands for the kids (not diabetes related) and found some links on that site. One of which was here.
