me saying, "is it hot? are you hot? i'm hot", and everyone else: "ummm, no, birdy! you're LOW!" i have awesome friends... new mexico is desert, so lows royally suck in the summer!

At 4:30pm on April 9, 2008, birdy said…: hi everyone! i am new! i've only been a type 1 for about a month and am pretty overwhelmed. my sugars are getting there slowly. i've always been a bit of a healthnut, so i'm gonna do my best to remain so! i live in new mexico and am hoping to continue with my goal of attending medical school next year. it felt so far away for a couple of weeks back when i was feeling awful! i hope to connect and learn from all of you. thanks for the site, it looks amazing!
