- What was your funniest diabetic moment? If you never had a low, tell us something funny that happend to you.
- I went low while shopping with a friend and she scurried me over to a bench where 2 guys had been sitting. I don't remember getting there or them getting up. I was clutching my bag of candy, and one of them asked if I was having blood sugar issues. I asked if he was an EMT, and he said, "No, but I slept in a Holiday Inn last night."
- What is your favorite snack to treat a low?
- Candy or juice. I used to carry gum drops, now it's caramel cremes. I always have a bottle of OJ in my purse. If I am home, I drink juice, as I can't on a regular basis.
- What kind of treatment are you on?
- Shots....Lantus and Humilog....plus, of course, diet and exercise
