Event Description

I am a Type 1 Diabetic that has had a difficult time finding support groups out there for Type 1s. So I decided to start one myself. If you are a Type 1 Diabetic and would like to meet others with Type 1, check out the G.A.T.E. -Gastroparesis And Type 1 diabetes Exchange (http://www.meetup.com/Type1Diabtes-GP-SupportGroup/)

It is for Type 1s as well as for those with Gastroparesis. You can have either condition and don't need to have both to join. It is a support and activities group for people with similar conditions to interact, network, participate in discussion, ask questions, share experiences, or to vent frustrations. I will also have guest speakers periodically. This is a new group that will meet the 3rd Sunday of each month starting May17 in Union City. I hope you will consider joining us for a future meeting.
