As you probably know, diabetes affects me personally. What you might not know is that there are nearly 21 million Americans living with this disease. You might not know that diabetes is the fifth-deadliest disease in the United States. You might not know about the complications that occur as a result of diabetes, including heart attack, blindness, stroke and neuropathy.

I’m writing to let you know that I’m taking action! This fall, I’m participating in the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes fund-raising walk. Step Out is a chance for members of our community to take a stand in the fight against diabetes. We’ll walk not only for our own health, but also as a statement that we’re going to fight this disease.

Please support me in my efforts to help the American Diabetes Association find a cure for diabetes. Donate to my campaign! You can make your donation online at diabetes.org/stepout or by writing me a check made payable to the American Diabetes Association. The funds I raise will support the research, education and advocacy efforts of the American Diabetes Association.

Bob's, graduation was fine he is off to North Texas in Denton. only about 40 miles but is going to live their at least for the first sem.
